The Greater Philadelphia Schutzhund Club is hosting SVF Judge Bogdan Sergo at our Spring Trial on May 1, 2010. Registration for this trial will be limited. Trial Time Notice: We will meet at Ben-Jee Kennels at 7:00 am and leave as a group to go to the tracking field. The Trial Field is located in Tylersport, PA. We ask that you follow these rules: Park your car and exercise your dogs in the designated areas only. Stay off the fields and neighboring properties; park in designated areas and please clean up after yourself and your dogs!!! Click the Directions Link above for directions to the field. ** Please Note: Parking at Ben-Jee will be for competitors only. Spectators may park on the gravel portion of the lot at Nanny's Family store approximately 50 yards east of the kennel on Route 563. We are grateful to Nanny's for allowing us to use their facility and ask that you patronize their business and keep the property clean. Thank you! Northeastern Region Team Cup Greater Philadelphia Schutzhund Club is proud to announce that Jim Hill and Beth Bradley brought home the Northeastern Region Team Cup with a combined score of 536. Jim & Charlie's score of 273 earned them 4th place. Beth and Nathan's score of 263 earned them 5th place. Congratulations Jim & Beth, we are very proud of you both.
Club Accomplishments World Team Members: GPSC is proud to have 4 World Team Members as Voting Members and Training Directors. Jim Hill, Mark Stathopoulos, Beth Bradley and Todd Shilkret have each traveled with their dogs and competed on World Teams for World Competitions. In 2003, GPSC had two members make the World Team and one of which competed in Belgium at the FCI World Team Competition. 2010 is shaping up to be a spectacular year. Our club members competed at a Local Club Trials, Regional and National and World Championships. As always, we have stuck together as teammates and continue to see in what friendship, sportsmanship and Schutzhund are all about. Thank you for everyone's support this year. Keep an eye out for all of our members in 2010 …it's going to be another great year; with new dogs getting ready to be titled, and dogs preparing for championship competitions! Go Team!
